Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA)

Amplifying locally-led climate solutions for people and nature
Home page of VCA
VCA is a global alliance that empowers diverse local communities to co-create and advocate for inclusive, gender-just climate solutions that benefit people and nature.

Voices for Just Climate Action (VCA) is an alliance of global and local civil society organizations that unites diverse voices, including women, youth, indigenous peoples, the urban poor, and digital activists, to address climate change.

It aims to create a world where civil society is heard, respected, and actively involved in shaping climate solutions that benefit both people and nature by working through three strategic interventions: (1) capacity strengthening to co-create alternative scaled climate solutions, (2) agenda-setting and climate action through amplified storytelling, and (3) joint lobbying and advocacy to influence policy and financial flows.

By integrating social and economic rights into climate action and addressing inequalities, the VCA seeks to transform power relationships and presents a fair, just, and solution-oriented agenda for climate action.
