The Grassroots Justice Network is a global community of justice defenders, activists, organizers, educators, public servants, students, and people passionate about justice. This network works to advance justice for marginalized communities through grassroots legal empowerment. It believes that justice should be centered on people, not institutions, and focuses on enabling individuals to understand, use, and shape the law to address their challenges. Its approach fosters collaboration between legal professionals, community leaders, and advocates to address issues such as land rights, gender-based violence, and access to public services, all while promoting systemic change through people-centered justice efforts.
The guiding principles of the Grassroots Justice Network are Power, Justice, and Solidarity.

This global community comprises over 15,900 members from 175 countries. The Core Groups of the Grassroots Justice Network operate across Latin America, Southeast Asia, East Africa, West Africa, Eurasia, and North America, and work in two cross-cutting thematic areas: land and environmental justice, and gender justice.
