The Earth Defenders Toolkit provides guides, case studies, and a forum for earth defenders and their allies to share experiences and knowledge. Its goal is to empower local communities with technological tools that promote independence in defending their lands, facilitating the documentation of abuses, and the preservation of their connection to their territories. This project, developed by Digital Democracy and partner organizations, aims to reduce reliance on external aid by offering access to tools, interactive guides, and an online collaborative space.
In this toolkit, you can find:
- Guides for initiating earth defender projects.
- An interactive tool finder.
- Different tools developed in partnership with earth defender communities to address their unique needs.
- Case studies from communities that are successfully leveraging technology to enhance their advocacy efforts.
- A collaborative forum for communities and their allies to connect and share insights.
Check out their website to learn more about their guides, resources, and featured tools.
